READY TO LEAD? TAKE THE LEAP WITH CODENEXT INC.
BREAK FREE FROM THE BIG FIRM GRIND.
YOUR CAREER DESERVES MORE.
You’ve been doing the work—managing complex projects, reviewing technical drawings, attending endless client meetings—but let’s be real. At a big firm, you’re just a cog in the machine. Decision-making? Limited. Autonomy? Nonexistent. Ownership of projects? Don’t even think about it.
We’re a progressive boutique firm specializing in Building and Fire Code services. Think of us as the antidote to corporate bureaucracy: a place where ideas flow, innovation thrives, and your hard work doesn’t get lost in layers of management.
At CodeNext Inc., we do things differently. We’re an employee-owned, Canadian-owned boutique firm that thrives on innovation and shaking up the status quo. Here, you’ll have the freedom to run your own projects, make key decisions, and work directly with clients who trust your expertise. No red tape—just real impact.
WHY CODENEXT?
We’re driven by people—not bureaucracy. Our team is passionate about finding creative solutions and pushing boundaries. We don’t just follow the Code; we innovate within it.
PEOPLE-POWERED
We collaborate, share ideas, and brainstorm solutions together. You won’t find people working in silos here. Instead, we lift each other up and grow as a team.
CULTURE OF LEARNING
When we achieve big wins (and we do!), we celebrate with regular downtown lunches exploring new cuisines and annual retreats to plan, brainstorm, and reflect on where we can keep growing. We’re doing exciting things in the Code industry, and we have an amazing team of professionals. Our clients love us—and we’re not shy about celebrating just how awesome it is to be part of CodeNext.
CULTURE OF CELEBRATION
REGULAR FEEDBACK & CAREER DEVELOPMENT
We believe in helping you reach your goals—whether it’s leading major projects, speaking at conferences, or becoming an industry expert. Both partners meet with every team member every six months to offer regular feedback and discuss your growth path.
BALANCE & HOME-WORK HARMONY
We prioritize mental health & encourage disconnection when needed. Yes, there may be times when you’ll have to put in extra hours to meet deadlines, but that’s the exception—not the rule. We’re not a corporate machine that grinds you down. Instead, we foster an honest, open environment where team members feel supported and can ask for help when they need it.

Here, you’ll have the autonomy, resources, mentorship and opportunity to work for a small, innovative business where your impact is felt every day.
